As you may know, I am a PROFESSIONAL MUSIC CRITIC and high-powered media insider. Because of this, famous artists from all around the world begin filling my mailbox around Thanksgiving begging me to include their latest record on my top ten list of the year, for it will surely send them into rock superstardom and riches beyond the imagination of anyone not named Jim Cramer or Pat Robertson....

Juno wasn’t that great. Definitely didn’t live up to the hype. It was still pretty good though; just had a sort of sitcomy feel to it. And I was led to believe that Michael Cera (and Rainn Wilson) had a bigger part. I did enjoy the gratuitous Sonic Youth insult though (“I bought one of their albums and it sucked! It was just noise!”) And Jason Bateman sort of played the...

Merry Christmas! I’m very excited for Rock Band. I hope someone does an open source version like Frets on Fire. Nevertheless, Jess, Nicky, and I will form a band that will take over the world. Google Stalking Kevin
I got an email with this attachment from Kev about five minutes after Google Street View went live in Boston this morning: Boston’s first Google Street View victim: Kevin, probably leaving work early.

Writing: Travis Morrison Interview, Stranded In Stereo, 2007 Travis was the lead singer of The Dismemberment Plan until they disbanded in 2003. I spoke with him as he was releasing his second solo album, All Y’all, about the record, The Plan, Axl Rose, long distance running, and my ideas for a possible “The Dismemberment Plan Is Broke!” reunion tour. ...
