Twin Bing
Back from Florida and the first thing I find is a package from Lyz with not one but TWO Twin Bings. Jess and I immediately consumed the first and I’m not going to lie, it was surprisingly tasty. Lyz used terms such as nasty and ass to describe them but both Adler and myself are fans. It sort of tastes like a Snickers with a hint of cherry, but in the shape of two BALLS instead of a bar....

In Florida for Thanksgiving with limited wireless access. Currently pilfering a signal from a neighbor. They must be wondering why Jess and I are sitting on our driveway with our Macbooks in the dark. Getting ready to hook up the Wii and throw down the bowling gauntlet.

Polaroids at night
Shooting with a One-Step at night is very frustrating because you cannot disable the flash, nor is there an input for a tripod. (I have piles of wasted Polaroids to prove it.) I finally broke down and bought an SX-70 earlier this week even though 600 film should start disappearing from shelves for good in February or March because I figure I can stockpile a 2-3 years supply in the meantime.

In the strange world that is my MFA program, I am currently on semester break. Without any academic responsibilities (other than writing) nor reasons to worry about the LHC until January, I have some of this “free time” people are always talking about. Some goals:
