Crazy Dream Part 2
I was in the novel/movie The Road. Except instead of a few cannibals terrorizing the post-apocalyptic world there were hundreds of thousands of super smart zombies. Viggo Mortensen had my back though.

Last night I dreamed that John Hodgman and Jonathan Coulton were the new play-by-play announcers for the Mets’s TV broadcast. Except instead of wearing blazers, they had tan, canvas carpenter jackets.

Paste's Top 50 Albums of the Decade →
I’m calling shenanigans on this. Last year Paste named She and Him’s Volume 1 the best album of 2008. And now, eleven months later, it doesn’t crack the top 50 of the decade. To put it into perspective, their third best album of 2008, Vampire Weekend’s self-titled debut, is 21, and second, Sigur Rós’ Med sud i eyrum vid spilum endalaust, is 25.

Mad Men Soundtracks →
The actors of Mad Men create playlists for iTunes and they’re great. Especially Jon Hamm’s, whose taste in contemporary fiction is also superb. Of Wilco’s “I am Trying to Break Your Heart” he says, “This is my favorite song from my favorite band. Hands down.” Sterling’s also a fan of the band apparently.
